DAY OR NIGHT RENTAL FEE
Unity Temple charges $300 to rent the hall for a 6 hour block of time. This fee reserves the room for your event and closes the church's bookstore.
With Eden Alley as your caterer, we request your minimum food purchase to be at least equivalent to our restaurant's earnings for the time period you are renting the hall (See chart below). For example, for us to close our restaurant to the public, and work specifically for you, on a Saturday night, would mean we would currently lose approximately $2100 in regular revenue, so that would be the minimum food purchase for your catering.
If you are not using Eden Alley as your caterer, your rental fee would also include a fee for our restaurant to close and us not getting that revenue. (See chart below. Sunday, and Monday / Tuesday PM are excluded from this fee as the restaurant is closed.)
Six hour rental blocks must fall within 7am to 4pm or 4pm to 12am. Rentals which fall in-between these time slots are considered whole-day events because the restaurant and bookstore would have to be closed for the entire day. These events would be charged extra.

SHORT RECEPTIONS
We are also available for 1 to 2 hour receptions before and after our restaurant hours of 11 to 9.
HAVING AN EVENT IN THE CHURCH? HOW ABOUT OFFERING CONCESSIONS?
Let us help you offer your patrons concessions during your intermission. We'll have friendly faces ready to serve fast and fresh coffees, teas, cookies downstairs in Meyer Hall. Simplicity...reserve your concessions while you reserve your room with the church. $100 opens and staffs our cash concession area for your guests only. Your patrons simply pay for what they order.

Standing capacity is 400 and seats up to 300.
SEATING
Full hall rental includes seating for 100. Additional tables and chairs are available for rent thru AAA Party Rental at cost.
BEER AND WINE
Enjoy your beverages without paying a fee...you can bring your own for free.
CLIMATE CONTROL
Warm in the winter and cool in the summer.
HANDICAP FACILITIES
Handicap entrance and door opener, as well as a handicap restroom on the ground floor.
PARKING
Six story parking garage attached with covered access to the entrance.
PATIO
Encapsulated in a garden vista, street-level on the Plaza. People watching paradise!
MUSIC
Bring in a band, DJ or connect your iPod and have your own playlist for your event.

LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION
Situated on the lower level of Unity Temple on the Plaza. You can get married upstairs, and have your reception downstairs. All located in Kansas City's premier shopping and dining district, the Plaza, with numerous hotels within blocks of our doors.
Our initial consultation is free, subsequent meetings are subject to charge. We require a $200 deposit to "book" a date. This fee goes towards your final bill. Cancellation within 21 days of event forfeits client's deposit. If you are
